No, I do not want a cook, I just need a driver!

The more a country is poor, the greater the disparity between rich and poor. The class average, almost non-existent, it is a tightrope, trying to maintain dignity without the access of eccentricity of the truly wealthy. Well, this is our case, one year after jumping a taxi, fighting in public with drivers of rickshaws, we saw that it was inevitable - buying a car and hire a driver.
In my humble life I never imagined having someone to drive for me, maybe in a dream, when I was a Queen or Madonna, but never like this. It is not luxury, but necessity.
In this new crusade decided to join the Overseas Women's Club, another club of expats here in Bangalore with a focus to help new wives coming here and also with the social aspect, raising money for charities of the city.
This club is really a great help with monthly publications and guide books and most importantly (for me) - the database of domestic professionals.
Out of curiosity, I went to meeting new members at a breakfast in one of the best restaurants in town. The meeting was among eight women 28-48 years old, was interesting. Representatives from Japan, France, U.S., England ... And I proudly - Latin America, they wanted to know where my parents were, for a person like me could not be Brazilian - Being compliment or insult, did not like.
The subject quickly changed the city for many of them had been discovered and their children were enrolled in school most expensive city ($ 100 thousand per year, paid by the company where their husbands work). The issue that remained was "household servants", every woman that had an average of 5 employees, among drivers, nannies, housekeepers and cooks.
None of them seemed to have been born in the "cradle of gold", the daughters of magnates or remnants of a royal family. But apparently all of them wanted to manage his body servants more efficiently, since normally the Sunday (day off) was a big problem - Who would serve tea to them?
Honestly I do not think any of them lived that way in their respective countries.
It is not envy, rancor or spite, but I did not understand what they do in life. House is the housekeeper who cares, who creates child is the nanny, food is the cook who does. Well it is expected that such a woman has a life? No, they do not work out. Expected to be beautiful and have a sculpted body for hours on the operating table and the gym? No, they were well caidinhas Oh yeah ... they study or do volunteer work? NO, they spend their days managing their employees with problems that are created for them will probably not become completely obsolete.
Surreal.

Last time Chico was here I did not see you, just him. I hope you're well. Whenever I pass here reading their texts, then talk to company personnel who have visited India to try to better understand what you guys live there. Caramba! Interest to understand what cost. My perception of the world still was not enough for me to imagine and understand what is this world! Sometimes I am shocked!
Let me give you some news: I'm in the implementation project of SAP India. I sabedo last Friday.
I hope to do a good job to facilitate the life of my friend Chico in the future ...... lol.
